Prime Rib must sit on counter overnight and be at room temperature.
Preheat Oven
- 375* (for medium rare)
- 400* (for medium)
- 425* (for well done)
Directions
- Place prime rib bone down in a roaster uncovered.
- Season with your favorite season salt, we suggest Wildman’s.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour at desired temperature.
- Shut the oven off. Leave rib in the oven and let sit covered for 1/2 hour per pound.
- Remove from oven and let sit covered for 20 minutes then slice.
Never open the oven door.
*If someone’s slice is too rare, put slice under broiler for 60 seconds.
