Dave Duma's Prime Rib

Dave Duma’s Prime Rib

Prime Rib must sit on counter overnight and be at room temperature.

Preheat Oven

  • 375* (for medium rare)
  • 400* (for medium)
  • 425* (for well done)

Directions

  1. Place prime rib bone down in a roaster uncovered.
  2. Season with your favorite season salt, we suggest Wildman’s.
  3. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at desired temperature.
  4. Shut the oven off. Leave rib in the oven and let sit covered for 1/2 hour per pound.
  5. Remove from oven and let sit covered for 20 minutes then slice.

Never open the oven door.

*If someone’s slice is too rare, put slice under broiler for 60 seconds.
